AEDC, Acrylic Emulsion Deck Coating, is the laboratory tested and proven concrete resurfacing material that has been applied on over 1 million square feet of new and old concrete pool decks, patios, walkways, coping stones and cantilever faces in a myriad of conditions. AEDC is not a paint film, but actually a colored concrete, having a basic combination of Portland Cement and silica sand combined with sophisticated epoxies and acrylics. AEDC provides superior compressive, tensile and flexural strength, giving AEDC the life expectancy of concrete.
AEDC can be built up to bevel heaved concrete or feather edged to meet adjoining surfaces. It will restore and create a beautiful, permanent surface, easily maintained by occasional hosing.
Prior preparation and time to complete an AEDC application are minimal. With the safety feature of a non-skid finish, and the cooler than concrete temperature underfoot, AEDC is the foremost consideration in concrete resurfacing materials.
